Rowe Announces $2.5 Million Grant for Kreamer Feed Inc.

July 17, 2026

HARRISBURG – Grant funding totaling $2.5 million was awarded to Kreamer Feed Inc. from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), according to Rep. David H. Rowe (R-Snyder/Union/Mifflin/Juniata). The funds will support a major expansion of its facility in Middlecreek Township.

The funds will cover extensive site preparation, including grading, tree removal, utility upgrades, and stormwater management, as well as the pouring of foundations, erection of a steel superstructure, installation of modern truck docks, and the rough in of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. These improvements are designed to expand production capacity and strengthen agricultural infrastructure in the region.

“The 85th District and the Commonwealth are built on a proud tradition of family farming that deserves to be honored and celebrated,” said Rowe. “This grant will help Kreamer Feed modernize its operations, create new jobs for Snyder County families, and support the agricultural backbone of central Pennsylvania. I appreciated the opportunity to advocate for this funding and look forward to seeing its impact in our community.”

"Agriculture remains Pennsylvania's top industry, and investments in businesses like Kreamer Feed support the farmers, employees, and communities that rely on a strong agricultural economy. This project positions the company for continued growth while creating new opportunities throughout the region,” added Sen. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27), who serves Snyder County as part of her Senate district.

The RACP program, overseen by the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget, allocates state-funded capital grants for economic, civic, cultural, recreational, and historical improvement projects that demonstrate strong regional impact and generate substantial employment and tax revenue.

Kreamer Feed Inc. is a leading provider of animal nutrition products and services in central Pennsylvania. This RACP grant marks a step toward enriching the region’s economy and food supply chain.
