Rowe Announces Grants Supporting Veterans Across 85th District

Harrisburg, PA — Rep. David H. Rowe (R-Snyder/Union/Mifflin/Juniata) today announced the award of grants funded through donations to the Pennsylvania Veterans Trust Fund (VTF). These grants will support critical programs that provide direct assistance to veterans and their families residing in the 85th Legislative District.

The grants include:
• Juniata County Veterans Affairs and Mifflin County Veteran Affairs - $30,000 to address veterans’ immediate financial, housing, and health care needs. The grant will also support expanded outreach efforts to ensure veterans can access services.
• Union-Snyder Community Action Agency - $30,000 to provide direct emergency assistance to veterans and their families, helping them meet urgent needs and stabilize during times of hardship.

“These grants will make a meaningful difference in the lives of local veterans,” said Rowe. “I am pleased to see funds set aside to enable community organizations to deliver essential services that these men and women earned through selfless service to our great country.”

The Veterans Trust Fund is supported by voluntary donations from Pennsylvanians, including proceeds from the Honoring Our Veterans license plate program, voluntary contributions via driver’s license and vehicle registration renewals, and private donations made directly to the fund.
