Rowe to Host Free ‘Fraud Bingo’ for 85th District Residents

HARRISBURG — Rep. David Rowe (R-Snyder/Union/Mifflin/Juniata) invites constituents from the 85th Legislative District to attend his upcoming free Fraud Bingo event. Hosted in partnership with the Department of Banking and Securities, attendees will learn how to protect themselves from identity theft and financial fraud while playing a fun game of bingo with prizes and refreshments. 

“This is a great opportunity for older adults to learn more about common scams and tactics used by fraudsters looking to obtain personal information,” said Rowe. “With the constant evolution of technology, we can’t be too careful when it comes to protecting our identity and personal information. I hope my constituents take advantage of this no-cost opportunity to learn more about scams at this event, so they can be educated and discerning when it comes to sharing information.” 

Fraud Bingo will be held on Friday, April 12, at 10-11:30 a.m. at the Lion’s Den, located at 158 Lion’s Den Drive in McAlisterville.
